Project overview
The client had already launched the app, but had design and navigability issues that affected the user experience. He reported that he already had 300 downloads on the Play Store, but so far had not had any orders.
My contributions
I did a case study analyzing the app's interface and the entire user flow, and pointed out some bugs that interfered with UX and could be a reason for giving up on the app.

I built a new navigation flow thinking about a better UI / UX, with a more intuitive navigability. After the first meeting, the client made small changes to the app that was already launched, improving some things pointed out in the case study. Once the improvements were made, he started to have at least 3 orders per day, without even changing the design of the app.
Usability test
I used the mobile version of the app on my computer to take some screenshots and analyze points of improvement and potential usability issues based on the user persona previously defined.
New flow
I created this new flow thinking about a better experience for users. My main concern was to make sure that the user always had multiple choices on each screen, and could navigate to different screens without losing any progress, as was the case in the old design. The new flow is also more intuitive, and has more screens just to keep the user informed about what is happening during their navigation.
High fidelity prototype
In the high-fidelity prototype my focus was to provide a lot of relevant information to the user. The client asked me to use material design components, to facilitate the implementation of the new design so I used several ready-made components, and just edited them to contain the necessary information.

I tried to use a lot of images throughout the purchase process. I added a screen dedicated to showing each product individually with its description and photo, so that the user is sure of the food he is buying. I also created filters by type of food, and search screens that show restaurants and products with the search term. In addition, I took care to include several warnings informing possible errors that occur, and buttons with the description of the next step that the user needs to perform if he does not notice it by himself.
